Annemarie Wiegerinck

Annemarie Wiegerinck – profile

Born in the Netherlands and came to Australia in 1971. After 20 years in the Snowy Mountains she and husband Barry Wilcox ( a fellow artist ) moved to Wandiligong near Bright in Victoria.

She has been practising art for 40 years and is mostly self-taught with her style evolving into a distinctive contemporary interpretation of the Australian bush landscape.

Annemarie offers a personal interpretation of patterns found in our natural environment utilising their natural colours and patterns seeking to communicate to the viewer the sense of belonging and joy she feels surrounded by nature.
