Jan began painting & drawing at an early age & was able to pursue her passion upon moving to Sth Western NSW many years ago. She was fortunate enough to receive tuition from visiting artists to Balranald such as Peter Wegner, Van Balmain, Bill Beasley & Lance & Jan McNeill.
She has an inherent love of the Australian bush, its wildlife & its characters.
Jan has had a highly successful career receiving a great number of awards during this time,including the corporate award @ Victor Harbour SA twice,several Camberwell awards, several St Kevin’s pastel awards, Mansfield, Wangaratta & Best In Show at Bright last year.
So far this year (2019) she has received awards at the following-Victor Harbour,Tumut,Kerang,Deniliquin,Mildura, Corowa,Goondiwindi,Corryong and Mansfield Equine Exhibition .
